Since 2011, GE Africa’s Sub-Saharan Headquarters has been located in Nairobi.
The headquarters is now home to over 140 employees. This contemporary office interior has a fresh energetic vibe, inspiring creativity in its visitors and enabling a discourse for GE’s messages which are displayed throughout the Centre.
The power and energy of GE is subtly communicated through the material finishes and design. Ceilings and floor patterns are directional and dynamic, indicating energy and vision.

Design in Details

GE engaged the London architectural & interior design firm, tp bennett, to come up with the design concept for the new training facility.

The look and feel of the reception area and break-out areas are defined by a timber-slat ceiling & wall features with accents of yellow.
In the reception, this forms the backdrop for the GE logo in stainless steel, the custom-designed reception desk, and the LCD screen.
These spaces are complemented by surface-mounted light fittings recessed in between the ceiling slats, special pendants, and natural daylight that filters through from the main entrance lobby and garden around the break-out space.
